During our Syƶte Winter Adventure Weekend trip weāll be staying in KIDE Hotel. The hotel is in the heart of the Iso-Syƶte ski resort, leaning to the Syƶte National Park and only a stoneās throw away from the slopes and ski rental shop.

Would you like to experience a reindeer safari in old fashioned style?
This is a pleasant way of traveling sitting in a reindeer sleigh watching reindeer ācaravanā move when connected by a rope to each other. The old-fashioned Lappish way!

Ski Resort Iso-Syƶte has 17 slopes, SnowPark for freestyle and more than 120 km skiing trails going through the beautiful nature. If skiing is new to you, you can join our skiing school on Syƶte Winter Adventure Weekend 4.-6.2.2022..
There is separate teaching for cross country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowboarding. All ski schools include rental gear and teaching, and downhill skiing and snowboarding schools also include a lift pass. You can also bring you own ski equipment or rent equipment at Iso-Syƶte Ski Rental Shop and ski on your own.

Husky safari includes introduction to team dogs and instructions upon arrival before husky sledge ride.

Did you know that Riisitunturi is known for its crown snow-loaded trees?
Crown snow-load is formed when snow and hard rime accumulates on tree branches and structures. It starts to develop latest in October when tree needles, sprig and moss sprout are covered by the thinnest of rimes. Over the winter, new snow gathers on trees layer by layer creating beautiful crown snow-loaded trees. š²ā
