We specialise in Polished Concrete Floors and Bench Tops because we offer a high end quality finish every time. We mechanically polish the concrete to get a smooth-as-glass finish, every surface is sealed, but nothing will flake off or go dull in high traffic areas; this is because of our very own Hammer Floor preparation system. Our Hammer Floor method works because of our Hammer Tools range of diamonds and resins we use; which were created by Joel just for PCI. What is the difference between our mechanically polished concrete and concrete floors coated in polyurethane or resin? There is a big difference. Our mechanically polished (Hammer Floor) floors are sealed with penetrating sealers to ensure the best possible protection and when you touch the floor, you are touching the actual concrete itself. The surface we leave you with is a stunning and unique feature in any home or business which looks and acts like one giant stone floor. Every floor or bench we finish is a custom creation; no two jobs are ever the same. Our floors are low maintenance with no grout lines and requiring only general sweeping and mopping (PH neutral cleaners only). A concrete floor coated in polyurethane or resin acts like polished timber floor boards. All topical sealers can scratch off and go dull in high traffic areas and eventually will always need to be sanded back and re-coated, and who has the time to close the business or empty out all furniture from the home to do that? You can choose from a matt, semi-gloss or a high gloss finish on your floor. You can opt for full aggregate exposure or none at all. PCI does not rush in and out of the job; we stick around until it is perfect. We work with the client to ensure satisfaction every time and we enjoy it when the client wants to have a bit of fun and try something different, to stand out from the crowd. If you are deciding between tiles and polished concrete, Fiji does have many cheap tiles available, but we can help you if you want an affordable floor which is also unique and stylish; no two floors are ever the same. PCI can also assist you with just about any concrete pumping you need done; we have our own Concrete Pump with a trained team to operate it.
