The house is located in the village of Beynac-et-Cazenac/South-West Dordogne/Acquitaine). It is situated in a quiet street, on the way to Beynac Castle, it has beautiful views from the double sun terraces, where
you can bask in the tranquility and beauty of the neighbourhood. The first floor has a comfortable living room, dinning area, spacious kitchen and a toilet. On the first floor there are
three good sized bedrooms and a bathroom. Besides the sun terraces, there is a barbeque area and a terraced back garden with beautiful flowers, and places you can relax and read a good book. It is a "home away from home""
A short walk, will take you to the delightful village, which belongs to the "Plus beaux villages"- (Frances most beautiful villages). The cobblestone streets, the cute shops and galleries, the promenade along the river Dordogne, takes you back in time. During the summer months, you can take a river trip on Gabarres (traditional barches), and glide past some of the most beautiful castles in the area. The natural scenary is stunning, and there are lots of walking/bycycle routes that will take you to amazing places and views. A short drive to Les Eyzier, will take you on a journey in time - from Neanderthal to Cro-Magnon. The Musee National of Les Eyzier is the centre of the world's biggest concentration of sites,occupied and embelished by mankind.It is also close by other interesting places like chateaux Castelnaud, La Roque Gageac, the Fenelon and Faynac castles, and chateaux and gardens of Marqueyssac. The medieval towns of Sarlat, Domme, Le Bugue are also interesting to discover. This is the country of Foie Gras and Truffles, and many recommended restaurants are specialized in traditional cuisine.
