When she’s not on board, Sue goes home to Blackpool, England, to her husband and two children – each of whom lights up the stage in his/her own way. Her husband is an entertainer on other ships, her daughter is a successful actor in the London theater circuit, and her son is a member of the band "Tenors of Rock," who used to perform on Celebrity ships. An entire family of talented individuals that share a common passion for music and entertainment – all born to be in the spotlight! Cristian uses his wealth of experience, expertise, and enthusiasm to recommend the perfect wine pairing for each and every guest, offering them a personalized and customized wine-and-dine experience. But did you know that, in addition to being a wine connoisseur and an invaluable member of our Celebrity crew, Cristian is also a singer, songwriter, and musician? Originally from Santiago, Chile, and now living near St Petersburg, Russia, in his free time, Cristian chases his other three passions: writing music, playing guitar and piano, and singing! The Government of Denmark has recently announced continued port closures for all cruise ships. In order to comply with these closures, we will be cancelling late Summer sailings on Celebrity Silhouette and Celebrity Reflection with scheduled calls to Denmark.

As a result of the Government of Canada’s decision to extend its restriction on cruise ships carrying more than 100 guests until Oct. 31, Celebrity Cruises 2020 sailings to Canada, New England and Alaska during this time frame must be canceled. When crew members Rajiv and Venita had to cancel the wedding they’d been planning back home, they decided not to let it keep them from celebrating their special day. As family and friends from all around the world joined the celebration via Zoom, and with the help of fellow crew members who handmade decorations and recreated the couple’s dream wedding cake, Rajiv and Venita said “I do” in an extra special ceremony on board Celebrity Edge – with Captain Kate McCue officiating and Bug Naked as ring bearer! Venita’s father, who also works for Celebrity as an onboard chef, walked Venita down the aisle, and the elated couple – who describe the moment they met as “love at first sight” – spoke their vows and celebrated their love at sea among family and friends.
Our warmest congratulations to Rajiv and Venita! Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day, and we wish you health and happiness as you begin your beautiful life together! ❤️🥂
