La Platriere is situated in the beautiful southern French hills, 1 km from the small village of Cazedarnes and 6 km from the larger medieval village of Cessenon-sur-Orb and 30 mins by car from the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean. Access to the house is via a drive down the side of a small vineyard with the property being surrounded by other vineyards. La Plâtrière in the middle of nature with glorious views of the surrounding area and many off road paths for walks. The house is built against the hill, and over the years, a division into an upper and a lower house has gradually developed. The - freely accessible - stone built lower house is available for self catering rental.
Layout Characteristic, large living area of approximately 9 x 8 m. With exposed beams and sloping roof, open kitchen, dining and sitting area with fireplace. Double French doors lead to a private terrace, sheltered from the northwest wind and with unobstructed views over the valley. Behind this living room are 2 bedrooms one with 2 single beds and the second with a King size double bed. Along a short passage is a bathroom with sink, walk in shower and toilet and then on to the entrance area with the front door. Off the entrance area is a second toilet with a sink and a front loading washing machine. Up a flight of stairs in the main living area is a mezzanine with 2 more single beds. There is room for up to 6 people.
The house has 2.6 hectares of land containing a small olive grove, an 8 x 4 metre natural swimming pool, various seating areas and a number hammocks suspended between some of the pine trees
