The weather lately hasn't encouraged me to get the potager ready for planting, but a trip into Saumur to Action gave me the push I needed!
I left armed with many packets of seeds.

I've spent the last few days wedding, potatoes are in egg boxes chitting nicely and I even found a few lettuce that had survived the cold spells we have had.

Think Hera is impressed too!

Last year I bought seedlings this year the dream is to grow from seed.

Everything in season the garden is available for guests to use too.

Homme is only 10 mins from us, the lake is a great place to cool down when it's 32 degrees! X

Each property has its own small sitting area, but our shared outdoor spaces are looking inviting in the sunshine!!

Although the pool is unheated, it's still warmer than the North Sea that we were brought up swimming in!

So our smallest room, Bleuet, is almost finished, Bathroom done (and currently being used by Phil and I whilst ours is being refitted, so I can confirm the shower is lovely).
I can't wait to see the back of the beautiful door and window tomorrow, 5 months since ordering x
