Happy day in St Hilaire du Harcouët yesterday. We enjoyed the bustling, huge market and chatted to lovely market traders. Made a few purchases too. Maison du Monde was too good to miss! Then on to the imposing church, a stroll in the park by the water to see the ducks and swans. Street food lunch - perfect day! A 30 minute drive from us, highly recommend xx

We visited beautiful Cabourg on Thursday, sun, sea and ice cream on the beach. This glorious resort is full of charm and character. It’s heritage of La Belle Epoch architecture is stunning! Highly recommend a visit, it’s worth the drive from Etoile du Nord to have a great seaside day ###

At last we’ve been able to finish the corner decking in the gite garden. A few finishing touches needed but such an improvement. It’s a fabulous sun trap too, roll on summer ###

We had an eventful trip to the recycling bins on Easter Saturday. We rescued kittens who had been dumped in the plastics bin. Pleased to say our local Pompiers climbed in and safely handed them out to us. After a trip to the vet we took them home and after ten days of bottle feeds, they are doing well. I will never understand how anyone could be so cruel, however their loss is our gain! Totally in love with both fluffy little treasures xx
