I know there are many out there who can’t get excited over news like this, or understand my love for this place, but for those of you who have visited and appreciate our continued hard work, who admire every buffed tap, notice the neat hospital corners, the crisp linen, fluffy towels, pristine whirlpool bath, not to mention the smile & ‘CHAT’ on arrival, well then… You’re WELCOME, and we can’t wait to see you all again 💫

So, we are just over 2 weeks in, and for those of you who are trying to join up the dots, our Millie has secured a 3month placement at the Michelin Star awarded Five Fields in Chelsea, London. Our tenacious young lady, having spent the last 10years schooling in France 🇫🇷 and learning everything in an entirely new language, has decided on a placement in London, in an industry she is becoming increasingly fond of, and under the watchful eye of one of the finest Michelin star chefs, Marguerite who is not only determined to retain her award, but to make the kitchen a much kinder workplace and to reduce its boisterous reputation. And it seems, that’s exactly what they are achieving.

Millie is having the time of her life. Yes she is working hard, long hours, but the vibe that has been created at The Five Fields offers Millie and her colleagues such a lovely environment, that they don’t even ‘notice’ that they are learning, and Millie hasn’t even realised yet how inspired she has ALREADY become. That being said, we still want her back home in the mountains when she’s ready, but for now, we let those wings fly and watch her enjoy being exactly who she is supposed to be. So for any of our nearest and dearest, wanting to whiz down to London for a day trip (and maybe treating our girl to a Starbucks) then you’ll know exactly where to find her, and I know for sure she would absolutely love to see you. GO MILLS… you’ve got this one sweetheart 👊🏼

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter. This years hunt slightly different for us, the tides have changed, as we hunt for the kids, scattered across 🇫🇷. RT 4hrs south in Orcieres chasing dreams🏂, Mills 4hrs north in Belfort letting off steam 😠🏒🥅… meanwhile we’ve been out with our girls 🐾🐾 having ‘TIME TO REFLECT’ at beautiful Lac de Montriond.

A BURSTING Sunday, ‘EARLY START, with a LATE finish’, and inbetween all of that was a tournament bursting with goals from , with a fiercely competitive yet supportive crew & .gg cheering their girl on 🥅🏒, Chamonix lunch & stocking filler shopping trip 🛍️, an obseen GOTZIE roast followed with lashings of meringue. Fired up on GOALS & SUGAR, this was one crazy, bonkers, busy day. Need sleep nowwwwww 🛌

One thing we are sure about, is that this country 🇫🇷 definitely knows a thing or two about wine, and today and the BTSMHR students of are fortunate enough to be working at the most famous charity wine auction in the world, the Hôtel-Dieu - Hospices de Beaune. What a difference a week can make
Last weekend we were still soaking up the bokrugby energy🇿🇦, summer temperatures in our shorts & flip flops, even though there was still a slightly bitter aftertaste 😕🏉🇫🇷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
This weekend, very different scenes. Still getting our rugby fix 🏉 supporting .gg & but we were a trusty support crew under a dodgy brolly, in thermals, winter boots and quite literally freezing our T👙TS off! Just aswell it was a triumphant WIN 🥇🔥💪🏼 and just accept the is here to stay so just 🧣🧤🌂
