It's been a fantastic summer, now Autumn is here it is much cooler at night.

Today was a lovely sunny 24c, we had a lovely day at Vers.

It's now time for me to return to Scotland for few months.

My guests have enjoyed a lovely week of sightseeing, canoeing, paddleboard and swimming.

The weather has been lovely sunny 25' so lots of fun on the water.

We are very pet friendly and the dogs also enjoyed the waterspouts 😊

Our last day on holiday, we've had a great 3 weeks visiting the Black Mountains and The Pyrenees as well as cities Narbonne, Carcassonne, Castlenaudry and Pau.

Today we had a nice hike at Lake Arrete then into the lovely town Tarbes.

Our little apartment in Capvern des Bains has been peace and tranquility, sorry to leave it.

Looking forward to now going back to La Maison d'Innes and await all my guests arriving in September 😊

Loved my adventure in Black Mountains and seeing the beautiful cities of Narbonne, Carcassonne and Castlenaudry

Now back home for few days then of to Lourdes😊

We are now back in The Black Mountains.

Today was another amazing day we went to the reservoir which actually feeds the Canal du Midi. This is where the Canal starts!

The waterfalls were amazing and of course the dogs loved the coolness.

Though I love Le Lot, it I will be sad to leave here on Thursday 😊

Last stop was the stunning city of Castlenaudry, so hot so didn't spend much time walking about. Went for lunch instead😊

Now all settled in a lovely little Gite back in the mountains on edge of Lake.

Next we headed for Narbonne beach as the temperature was getting hotter🥵

The dogs had fantastic time spent almost 2 hrs in and out the water it was lovely

My what an adventure I've had today! First I started off in the lovely city Narbonne. Arrived at 7.30 sat in cafe watching the stallholders set-up the market.

Then the temperature reached 34 by 10am so headed for Narbonne beach🏖

Our last day exploring this beautiful area.
We are now up on Lac des Montagnes, Lake on The Mountain.

So beautiful and cool, well 27c is cool for me now😊

Lots for the kids to do ie crazy golf, tennis, playpark and huge inflatables on the lake as well as other water sports.

There are also different places to eat whether you want full meal or snack. Lots of picnic areas and water is so clear to swim in.

We have a very similar lake with all these facilities near la Maison d'Innes called Lac Vert Catus.

Tomorrow off to Carcassone and then Narbonne.

We're now at the other end of Lake Laprade Basse, even more stunning.

Tomorrow we're heading up to Lac Montagne, can't wait!
