Another nice stroll along our canal path …. Different direction and definitely different temperature …… -5 starting off but bright and beautiful at the same time 🥶🥶🥶☀️

With all of the events of the last few years and postponed bookings from the pandemic years we haven’t posted much on social media …. so here we go new year and new start.

Our gite is less than a 1km from the Canal de Berry which is now being pedestrianised and will be called Coeur de France Veloroute - Heart of France Cyclepath.

Our portion of the route is the last to be completed ….. Once it’s finished in the next few months it will run from Tours to Bourges. In the meantime we’re enjoying our little walks along it while waiting for it to be completely finished 😀🚴‍♀️🚴🚴‍♂️

After a very very busy week of gardening and spring cleaning our gite was looking lovely to welcome it's first guests of 2019 - a lovely family and their two children will definitely be making the most of all the space they have to run around

Our garden is now looking quite nice after a very busy and frustrating day of gardening yesterday in 30 degree heat on a tractor with a fally-off wheel and an industrial strimmer with the wire constantly breaking 🌲🌳🌲🌳🌲
