Enter in a new era of yachting with the MODX 70, the first 100% renewable energies cruising catamaran, packed with innovations and technologies. This new 70' cruising catamaran is the first vessel combining two complementary and innovative propulsion systems: an automated, inflatable wings on retractable masts system and an electric propulsion system fitted with variable pitch propellers for hydro

generation. The MODX series leverages 10 years of experience in technology development and implementation in the field of renewable energies, sustainability, and performances in sailing. Our innovative and committed business model is strongly rooted in the notion of "business for good", from the design, the production and all the way to the marketing models. The MODX70 will hit the market at the Cannes boat show (Sept 2022) in three different owner configurations. Nous avons eu l'honneur d'accueillir Loher, Ministre de la Mer et de la Pêche, et Maire de de Lorient, à bord du MODX 70, un catamaran visionnaire 100% électrique, 100% énergies renouvelables et zéro émission de CO2.

Ce navire incarne le futur de la plaisance, avec notamment un système de propulsion vélique révolutionnaire développé par Aeroforce, qui place le MODX 70 à la pointe de la décarbonation maritime.

Chaque élément du MODX 70 a été pensé pour repousser les limites de la durabilité, sans compromis sur le luxe ni la performance. De la conception optimisée de sa structure à ses ailes véliques entièrement automatisées, gonflables et rétractables, ce catamaran redéfinit le yachting haut de gamme en offrant une alternative concrète en supprimant les énergies fossiles à bord.

C’est une avancée technologique inédite, illustrant le potentiel des solutions de propulsion renouvelables pour l’avenir de la navigation.

Au cours de cette visite, M. Fabrice Loher a pu découvrir en détail ces innovations pionnières, qui positionnent Lorient Agglomération comme un acteur majeur de la transition écologique maritime. The first MODX 70 #01 has touched water in La Rochelle and will soon be seen on the Ocean! 🌊

The integration of the wings with our partner Aeroforce will take place soon in Lorient. 🪽 Before the launch of the sea trial campaign.

The MODX 70 series is the first 100% electric, 100% renewable energy, zero CO2 emission catamaran to integrate two retractable and automated Aeroforce wings.
