Nous avons eu l'honneur d'accueillir Loher, Ministre de la Mer et de la Pêche, et Maire de de Lorient, à bord du MODX 70, un catamaran visionnaire 100% électrique, 100% énergies renouvelables et zéro émission de CO2.

Ce navire incarne le futur de la plaisance, avec notamment un système de propulsion vélique révolutionnaire développé par Aeroforce, qui place le MODX 70 à la pointe de la décarbonation maritime.

Chaque élément du MODX 70 a été pensé pour repousser les limites de la durabilité, sans compromis sur le luxe ni la performance. De la conception optimisée de sa structure à ses ailes véliques entièrement automatisées, gonflables et rétractables, ce catamaran redéfinit le yachting haut de gamme en offrant une alternative concrète en supprimant les énergies fossiles à bord.

C’est une avancée technologique inédite, illustrant le potentiel des solutions de propulsion renouvelables pour l’avenir de la navigation.

Au cours de cette visite, M. Fabrice Loher a pu découvrir en détail ces innovations pionnières, qui positionnent Lorient Agglomération comme un acteur majeur de la transition écologique maritime. The first catamaran in the MODX 70 series will be heading for Lorient this weekend for the integration of its Aeroforce wings and the start of the "sea trial" phase. This new stage marks a significant step forward for MODX Catamarans and its mission to revolutionise yachting by combining major technological innovations with a strong commitment to the total decarbonisation of yachting.

The integration of the wings with our partner Aeroforce will take place soon in Lorient. 🪽 Before the launch of the sea trial campaign.

The MODX 70 series is the first 100% electric, 100% renewable energy, zero CO2 emission catamaran to integrate two retractable and automated Aeroforce wings.

🌊 Preserving the oceans, sailing towards a sustainable future ⛵️🐋

The oceans, the vast expanses of water that cover our planet, are home to extraordinary biodiversity and play a vital role in regulating the climate. Unfortunately, they face many challenges, including plastic pollution, which threatens their health and balance. Today, several governments are working on a treaty on plastic pollution to tackle this urgent issue.

As yachting enthusiasts, we are fortunate to enjoy the beauty and majesty of the oceans. However, it is essential that we are aware of our responsibility towards these fragile ecosystems. Every action counts, and we must take steps to preserve these natural wonders for future generations.

Together, we can make a real difference to the preservation of the oceans. Let's commit to caring for these precious ecosystems and encourage our governments to act in favour of the Plastic Pollution Treaty. A sustainable future for our oceans is in our hands, or rather in our sails.

to the International Multihull Show 2023. This event was the opportunity to unveil the new Aeroforce wing system which will be integrated on the MODX 70 series.
