Planning your holiday in France for next year? Come and stay at our beautiful home in south west France in the magnificent village of Saint Cirq Lapopie.
So what does a relaxing day on vacation look like when staying at Villa Petite Chapelle?
Walk early and watch the mist rolling across the valley.
Visit one of the many nearby markets.
Indulge in a little something for morning tea!
Prepare something simple for lunch from your market purchases in our wonderfully equipped kitchen.
Relax and read on the daybed or admire the view across to the castle ruins.
Perhaps a soak in our antique cast iron bath might be in order.
Enjoy the evening light as you sit on the terrace and look down to the river.
The most difficult decision of the day - where in the village to go for dinner!
Sleep soundly and repeat or make a plan for a day of activity!

Château de Couanac is is a wonderful place to visit when staying at Villa Petite Chapelle. It is about a twenty minute drive in Varaire. A guided tour, a delicious lunch and charming hosts. So much history, so much beauty. www.chateaudecouanac.com

After the recent tragic events in Nice I was pleased the 14th July celebrations went ahead in our village. If we had been in Saint Cirq this would have been the view from our terrace on Sunday night. Wonderful that we had guests at Villa Petite Chapelle to enjoy the fireworks.

Have just sent a note to a Frenchwoman in the north of France for her to put inside a birthday card for her Father. As a surprise she has booked a week at Villa Petite Chapelle for her parents for later in the year. Quel bon cadeau pour Papa!
