La crèche de Noel - une belle réalisation à Neuvy au Houlme We have our neighbour, Mr David Le Guyarder (Manoir de Ribardon) to thank for the lovely nativity scene in the church at Neuvy au Houlme this year. I loved the exquisitely dressed figures representing 18th century village characters participating in the well known Christmas story One picture couldn't capture the scene so, I recorded video of the atmospheric church interior. Twenty local churches participated in this years 'Route des Crèches' which encourages local people to appreciate the fine religious architecture of the region. It could be the 800th Christmas in our church which dates back to the 13th century!
