3 double bedrooms, huge fully fitted kitchen-diner and large comfortable sitting room, give Chez Meunier an exceptionally light and spacious feel, not common in the typical 'gite'. The private pool is not only for the sole use of Chez Meunier but also private in it's situation, with just woodland in front and to the side. Two bathrooms and 3 toilets and double and single bed-settees in the sitting room enable slightly larger family groups (maximum 9) to enjoy their holiday together.

Comfy cats!

Récemment, mes parents ont observé l'arrivée de quatre chats errants dans leur jardin. Conscients des hivers rigoureux du Minnesota, mon père a décidé de leur construire un abri.

L'abri : Il a fabriqué un "condo" isolé pour les protéger du froid.
L'installation : Une plateforme a été ajoutée pour y placer leur nourriture et leur eau, afin d'empêcher d'autres animaux sauvages de les consommer.
Le nichoir : Un nichoir à oiseaux a également été installé, apportant un peu plus d'animation au jardin.
👉 Créer des abris pour les animaux errants est une belle initiative pour les protéger, notamment pendant les périodes difficiles comme l’hiver. Il est important de veiller à leur bien-être et de collaborer avec des refuges ou des associations locales pour que ces actions soient bénéfiques.

Well....can't complain! Our last 2 weeks this year have just been booked, by new people which is lovely. And we have already booked 4 weeks next year, with returning guests.
We just need this peculiar weather to settle down and everything will be perfect. One good thing about the nonstop rain in the spring though, the millstream is still flowing!! 😄 👌

Great news, we've been waiting for years, but AT LAST we have FIBRE!!! Celebrations definitely on the cards 😃

The private 10 x 5 metre pool is not only for the sole use of Chez Meunier but also private in it's situation, with just woodland in front and to the side.

Silence, apart from birdsong and the laughter and chatter of a family enjoying themselves. What could be better?
