Rouen was one of the most influential cities in medieval Europe. Its picturesque streets with half timbered houses from the 13th-14th century have been the setting of many historical events The impressive gothic cathedral hosts the remains Rollon, the viking chief who did not only plunder but fell in love with France and became first Duke of Normandy. That is also where the heart of another famous Duke of Normandy, the one and only Richard Lionheart, is kept. The 14th century monumental astronomical clock still marks the hours of a very lively student town. And of course, many monuments are testimonies to the episode of the young girl who became a Saint as well as a symbol of France: Joan of Arc. The square where she was burnt at the stake is very beautifully arranged in her honor.

A beautiful day at the castle of Fontainebleau, the favorite residence of Francis I, who renovated it in the 1550s. There, you will also find Napoleon I’s throne room and the small cabinet where he signed his abdication. The statue of Diana, goddess of hunt, imitates ancient models.
Join me to spend a day away from the Parisian buzz learn more about Fontainebleau, the French kings and their mistresses!

Come and discover the archaeology, history, architecture and culinary traditions of Paris and France with me. A PhD in archaeology and researcher, I am also a licensed guide and love spreading my love for culture with the wider public.

I can guide in French, English, Greek. I am conversational in Brazilian Portuguese.

I was raised in Paris, and many of my weekends as a child and a teenager were spent at Versailles and the Louvre, daydreaming about life at the court of the Sun King, in Mesopotamia, pharaonic Egypt, or in Raphael's Renaissance. Museum artifacts and monuments would come to life and tell me so many stories. They sparked my lifelong passion for culture, and I would love to share my love for Paris and its centuries of history with you!

I love traveling (I've visited 58 countries so far), discovering new cultures and languages. In my spare time, I sing and perform in Ancient Greek theater plays. I also enjoy good food and wine (I am French after all!), a good laugh, art, the opera, hiking, swimming and diving.

Don't hesitate to contact me with any question you might have!
