The street has been featured in Woody Allen's midnight in Paris movie! This area is quite central with a 10-11 minute walk to Notre Dame, (crossing the Seine river) and about 13-15 minute walk to the St. Michel and Odeon areas with so many restaurants and cafes/b

akeries, etc! But do also explore the famed Latin Quarter, so named because they actually spoke Latin when the University was founded, back in 1257 (almost 200 years before Columbus struck-out!). You will revel in the rich old history of this great area, kept alive today by all those lively young students frequenting the many small pubs and cafes around. You can even stroll to Luxembourg Gardens in under 15 minutes.
