Grandes Platieres (2500m) ➡️ 85cm
Samoëns 1600 (1600m) ➡️ 45cm

Ski conditions are incredible!

The Grand Massif Officiel now has a snow base of just under 3m at its deepest - that's almost the same height as two Ford Puma road cars stacked one on top of the other!

❄️ Snow Incoming - Up To 120cm? ❄️

It has been a magnificently beautiful day here in Grand Massif Officiel today after up to 20cm of snow overnight.

…but that 20cm of snow could pale into insignificance compared to what's on its way, with various forecasting models predicting anywhere from 70cm to 120cm at 1600m over the next 48 hours!

Ever the optimists, we're hoping for 120cm. However, even 70cm would offer a spectacular start to February and set us up perfectly for February and the upcoming holiday period. 🤞🤞

⛷ One sleep until opening day!

Heavy snow yesterday means fantastic conditions today ahead of the full opening of the Grand Massif Officiel tomorrow.

❄ Significant snowfall is forecast on Sunday, with up to 100cm predicted at 1500m, and snow to village level on Monday!

What a start to the season! 😍
