Well, David took part in his first Cherry spitting competition but let the side down I'm afraid....he lost out to the local 'Silver Medal' winner! Good fun to make the most of the hoards of cherries harvested in the area and we were invited to share in the benefits by our dear friend from the Auberge who personally delivered some to us.

May in Sournia has started well, with the recent building work finished, it all looks great - Sunshine made it even better! We even finally made it to Villefranche - well worth a visit! The shop signs are a real work of art.
