La Maisonnette and Les Hirondelles - gites in Charente Perfect location for exploring the area La Maisonnette is a quirky 1 bedroom holiday gite, suitable for up to 2 adults and 1 child age under 12.

Situated in North Charente, close to Ruffec, set in the countryside in a pretty rural location but within 10 minutes drive of major towns and 5 minutes from the N10. Set in a pretty rural location on the edge of a farming hamlet, the properties provide an ideal opportunity to break from the rat race, so turn off the mobile phones and enjoy the sounds of the countryside, from the birds in the trees

, to cows in the field and the sounds of the farm machinery. There is a fabulous superking bed and a pellet burner in the bedroom fireplace, so its suitable for all year round lettings. A clic clac sofa bed in the living area provides additional sleeping facilities for 1 child, we are also able to supply a travel cot on request. The accommodation has a full size gas cooker, fridge, separate freezer and a washing machine in the bathroom. Les Hirondelles is our work in progress, suitable for up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms and all on one level, it will only be available during July and August, includes access to a lovely garden and orchard. There is a childrens play area with swings, slide, rope ladder, a large paddling pool and even a childrens desk area set under the shade of a tree. Both properties have French terrestrial TV channels and English Satellite TV (freesat channels only)

For those that need access to the internet, we are able to provide a 4G connection at additional cost.
