So as the summer holidays come to an end and schools go back, September is a beautiful month here in SW France amongst the vineyards for those without children who can enjoy everything on offer without the mad crowds around.
Ideal for couples, friends or small groups who’d like to get away and spend some time together, maybe play some golf, do some fishing, have a workout in the gym or just relax by the pool or lake. Alternatively expérience the vendange, the harvesting of the grapes amongst the local vineyards, leisurely stroll through the farmer’s markets or spend a day exploring the beautiful city of Bordeaux. In the evening, sit by the firepit with a glass of local wine and watch the sun set across the lake.

What a great year it’s been at Gite Les Pignons where guests have especially enjoyed the pizza nights and morning gym sessions with Adie. Others have enjoyed fishing and swimming in the lake and some have learnt to play golf. Above all, everyone has had fun!
