Beautiful exhibit at the Centre Pompidou of Antonin Brancusi. I read that he came on foot from Romania to Paris in 1903, working his way. There is an old tradition of carving in Romania. Beauuuuutiful exhibit and Brancusi is my favorite.

The Notre-Dame's restauration is nearly finished, the spire that caught the fire has been rebuilt as the original and is waiting for the 12 bronze statues. Nice exhibit of Etienne Dinet (1861-1929) who fell in love with Algeria. He was French but converted to Islam in awe of the spiritual community where he lived. Algeria was already being colonized by the French against whom he was critical. The exhibit is at the Institute du Monde Arab or IMA.

Suasana Pesta Musik. Paris asyik. Today, June 21 is traditionally Fête de la Musique. Sehari dan semalam suntuk boleh main musik di jalan, di taman. (Biasanya setelah jam 10 malam tidak boleh brisik, bisa kena tilang).Tentunya kafe mengambil kesempatan untuk memperlebar teras dan menjamu minum.

Musim kemarau favorit dengan warna-warni alam. Di dekat rumahku ada kuburan besar, Père Lachaise, ada kisah sedikit: di tembok luar , foto yang ada patung, itu tempat ditembaknya para pejuang Revolusi terakhir, yang disebut La Commune, di tahun 1870. My favorite season is autumn, with its wonderful colors. Walking by the Père Lachaise Cemetery outside wall, the reminder is there how the last revolutionary fighters, during La Commune, were shot against this wall (without process of course) against this wall in 1870.
