Start planning your autumn trip to France!
Fall is a wonderful time to visit France - and now is the ideal time to book!
Here are some things we think you'll love about France in the fall:
🍂 It's a great time for hiking - not too hot and not too cold
🍂 You'll be able to enjoy the gorgeous fall colors, with beautiful skies and landscapes (a dream for photographers!). Dordogne and Provence are particularly lovely.
🍂 If you dream of visiting Burgundy, we can arrange for you to stay at a B&B that is also a wine estate, so you can see the bustling work in the vineyards & cellars up close around harvest time
🍂 For seafood lovers, September-April is the best time to enjoy mussels, oysters, shells, and scallops in France. In Normandy you can enjoy 'the whole ocean on your plate' shellfish festival (Toute la mer sur un plateau) on 5-6 oct 2024
🍂 Places that can be extremely busy with tourists, such as the French Riviera, Mont St Michel and Carcassonne, will have far fewer tourists in the fall and therefore be quieter and very pleasant to explore
If you are interested in visiting France this fall, we warmly invite you to reach out to us, your trip planners, Emilie, Laura and Clélia. We would love to answer your questions and plan an unforgettable trip to France - just for you!

📍Brézé Castle in the western Loire Valley is special because of its 18m / 60ft moat!
This Renaissance Castle is just one of the many hidden gems in the Loire Valley with a fascinating history!

Ready for tonight's game! ,🇫🇷🏈🇳🇦
Today marks the beginning of the Rugby World Cup 2023, hosted by France! It runs from September 8th - October 28th, and tonight the whole town of Langeais, where we're based, was on the main square supporting France against New Zealand!
We were very happy to win the opening game 27 - 13! 😁🏉
Today we're at the Thursday morning market in Villefranche de Rouergue in southern France!
We love to go to these little village markets - it's a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the daily life!
Greetings from Emilie & family! 🤗🇫🇷
Shopping for the freshest ingredients at the local market is an important part of French culture (something we love our travelers to experience!)
We'll tell you our favorite regional markets when you book a tour with us, so you can get a real taste of the local way of life.
This market is in the gorgeous little town of Villefranche-de-Rouergue in Aveyron in southern France 🇫🇷 🙂
On this Armistice Day, our home town of Langeais honors the memory of the foreign soldiers who fought for it's liberation.
Jeanne and Pauline loved reading this heart-warming new Christmas story, The Best Christmas Ever, by Judy Link, mom of our Senior Trip Planner, Laura!
It's a story about some old Christmas ornaments that come to life and become friends at the back of the Christmas tree - and then get a big surprise at Christmas! 🌟🎄
You can find the book on Amazon by typing in "The Best Christmas Ever Judy Link". We're sure the little ones in your lives will love it too!
Here, our girls are reading a couple of extracts from the beginning and end of the book - no spoilers, we promise! 😉
Have you tried Emilie's Madeleine de Commercy recipe yet? We shared it on the blog & in this month's newsletter!
Emilie shows you how easy it is in this video 😊👌
For those who are still looking for Elvis, he is in Luynes tonight!
