Our story
We had a dream to move to France and live a quieter, simpler life. So we did it! Part of that dream was to run a gite and we fell in love with our house the second we saw it.
Belle Etoile Gite means beautiful star. We called it this for a number of reasons. Firstly, Kerry’s favourite French word is etoile which is the word for star. Secondly, the sky at night here is amazing. We were flabbergasted by the amount of stars you can see on a clear night. A literal blanket of stars across the sky. It’s beautiful. And thirdly the gite is our star. We love it and we look forward to welcoming guests who will hopefully love it too.
Our story in France is just beginning and as we explore and learn more about this lovely part of the world, we want to share it with you too.
