We are now told Greece re-opens July 1, with 7-stage plan May 1 - July 1.
The position now is said to be: .
- Movement permits not required.
- Exercise outdoors and swimming OK, beaches open to public
- Small shops, hairdressers, barbers, beauty salons, bookshops, opticians and garden centres open.
- Public hospitals open.
- Car restrictions in Athens lifted.
- A driver and two passengers OK per vehicle (not past prefecture border)
- Church services restarted.

The third stage began May 18:
- All traffic restrictions lifted
- Ferry services to Crete will restarted; other islands for residents only
- Inter city buses and trains restarted
- Parks, zoos and archaeological sites open
- Shopping malls and large supermakets etc open.
- Domestic flights starting to resume.

From Monday, May 25
- Ferry services to other islands resume
- Restaurants, bars and cafes open

Monday, June 1
- City hotels re-open
- Subject to official confirmation, flights from UK may resumet

July 1 - subject to official confirmation
- Resort hotels etc. open
- international flights restart
