It’s truffle season ……. The black diamond 💎
This time of year there are plenty of regulated truffle markets in the region.
📍Our nearest truffle market is at Excideuil.
They are around 800-900€ per kilo !
But a golf ball sized fresh truffle will roughly cost you 20€
📌Worth knowing that you can also book a local truffle hunting experience with a nearby trufflière

Why not book a long weekend at le Marronnier and have a truffle weekend 🌳

The beautiful city of Perigueux (the capital of the Dordogne) is just 26km away. Well worth a visit to see this historic city. Restaurants galore, shops, Roman amphitheatres, museums, cathedral, river walks and twice weekly markets.
