A beautiful modern holiday home with 5 bedrooms, situated in the green and blooming coastal town of The house is a wonderful, comfortable place to stay in.

We have had over 400 guests stay at the house now, it is always fully booked for the summer holidays and at all half-terms. We advise getting in touch six months in advance if you want to book for these busy periods of the children's school holidays. Varengeville itself is a beautiful green, verdant village along the Cote d'Albatre - the Alabaster Coast, so named and famed for its stunning white cliffs. It is like a breath of fresh air arriving in France to this wild untouched, unspoilt coastline. The air is pure, the views stretch for miles and the food and wine is of course, outstandingly good. It's newly built in 2014 and we've been careful to choose good quality fittings and fixtures throughout the house in the hope that they will last if we invest in them upfront. We hope you may enjoy a few days or a week or even two weeks at our green and peaceful house.

Our Story

We bought some land in Varengeville-Sur-Mer shortly after our little girl was born. We knew flying to foreign countries would a) be expensive now we had an extra person to pay for and b) we'd have buggies, potties, nappies and car-seats for the forseeable future. The car looked easier and cheaper. We started building Maison des Chenes when I was pregnant with my little boy. It was ready in 2013. We have had over 40 guests stay at the house now, it is always fully booked for the summer holidays and at all half-terms.
