🎃🧹🦇🧟♂️ Happy Halloween 🎃👻🧙♂️🐈⬛️
We were so happy to carve a home-grown pumpkin 🎃 for today's guests who have just arrived. We've even put in a battery operated light which comes with its own remote control!
Hoping everyone has a Fantôme-tastic Halloween tomorrow 🦇🦉👻🇫🇷
This summer, we became hosts for students who would like to improve their English with Linguifamily, séjours linguistiques entre particuliers 🇲🇫🇬🇧
It's been a fun and hugely rewarding experience and we've met some amazing kids ❤️ who have made some fantastic memories of their summer ☀️ as well as having improved their English!
I've also started working with Easy English Breizh providing one-on-one English lessons for local kids.
We've already had enquiries for next summer for Linguifamily stays, so if you think this might be of interest, don't hesitate to drop us a message and find out more.
A small selection of pictures from this year's stays 📷
❤️EDIT: Thank you for all the messages regarding our Linguifamily stay! Here's the link to our profile along with our information and reviews ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🥰

🐓 Meet our Team 🐓
We need your help please! Meet our complimentary wake-up call provider - our extremely handsome Janzé cockerel 🐓 lacks a name! Without wanting to sound rude... we need your help to name our cockerel.
A little background on the Janzé; they're a rare breed originating in Brittany, specifically from the town of Janzé. They were all but extinct in the 1980's but have thankfully been revived as a breed by the Écomusée du Pays de Rennes . They're famed for attacking the invasive Asian Hornet, as well as keeping parasites & pests in orchards and flocks of sheep at bay. They have beautiful black plumage with a striking green iridescence and dark brown eyes. Our lad loves to be admired, looooves grapes fresh off the vine 🙄 he's friendly and laid back & he takes great care of his flock of rescue hens. We're hoping to get him a couple of Janzé hens next spring and hopefully expand our flock of these incredible Janzé chickens 🐔🥚🐣
🐾 Meet our Team 🐾
It was impossible to pick just one photo of Slug! I say Slug - really his name is Snuggles. However, over time, that morphed into Snuggly, then Snuggy, then Sluggy, then Slug on account of his incredible affinity to all things mud! He's also unreasonably wild so his "alter-ego" if you will is Shrew. I'd like to say it's derived from Shakespeare and the infamous untameability of the small rodents of the same name, but in fact it comes from a truly awful, low budget, 1970's film my brother found called "Attack of the Killer Shrews" which features quite friendly looking dogs with mouse masks and tails tied to them chasing bad actors around the screen for an hour or so.
Anyway, what's in a name, right? Slug is our most senior member of staff at a golden 15 years old. Unfortunately his eyesight has completely gone now due to cataracts, so if you see him out and about he'll most likely be sporting his super cool sunnies 😎 to protect his sensitive eyes from the sun. But being blind doesn't hold him back - he's still an active and important team member. Slug's main skills include carefully watching over the sofa all day, snuggling up with Rohan when he's taking a break from pest control duties, enjoying the French sunshine (warmth only from his shady spot) and being utterly wild at night when we finally get an hour or so to put our feet up at the end of the day! He loves to keep us on our toes!
He's a fantastic Uncle to all, accepting and snuggling up with all manner of waifs and strays, from goslings, orphan lambs, goat kids, to Rohan despite the needle-like claws!
The living legend who is Slug! 💙
Can you believe it?!
