We've been having trouble with little Slug 🐾 during the night, he wakes up really confused and frantic, obviously waking us up. Sometimes if you take him for a drink of water he settles down again, sometimes not. Anyway, last night he was particularly unsettled and Scott and I didn't get the most restful nights sleep 😴 Slug is, as always, full of energy this morning and powering his way around the kitchen as I type 🤣
Anyway, the point being, we were quite tired and groggy when the alarm ⏰️ went off this morning. We dragged ourselves out of bed, Scott headed out to walk Slug down the drive and I got the kettle on for the much needed coffee ☕️ before going to check on the sheep. Scott came back to the airlock door, gleefully shouting "Poopoo!! POOPOO 💩"
I get it, it's great when Slug is "efficient" with his, shall we say "call of nature" 🤔 in the morning, but I was quite taken aback with the sheer amount of excitement and joy in Scott's voice 😀 Next thing, he's beckoning me out to the garden because of the Poopoo... even if it was a work of modern art 🎨 I'm thinking I reeeeeally don't need to see it 😬😬😬 let alone smell it!!
Scott was SO passionate about showing me this magnificent Poopoo, I reluctantly went outside, treading gingerly and waiting to be assaulted by a terrible odour 😷 What was particularly surprising was Scott was looking not down, but up!! I was thinking in utter horror, what hideously unnatural events have taken place here?? 😱😳💩 Then I heard it.... a HooPoe 🐦 the Hoopoe is back! I suddenly understood Scott's excitement and was very relieved that we were no longer searching for a sky poo 😄
I'll take it as Scott's unintentional revenge on the "P-ing foal/hissing mole" incident 🤣🙈
