Ty Penllain House is a comfortable family holiday home in Penparc village, two miles north of the market town of Cardigan on the Ceredigion Heritage Coast. There are lots of things to do here including theatre, cinema, canoeing, fishing, golf, horse riding and
boat trips to Cardigan Island to see the dolphins, seals and birds. Cardigan has a variety of shops and plenty of good eating places and pubs. Ty Penllain House is a fantastic base to explore this beautiful part of Wales. The nearest beach is the spectacular setting of Mwnt 3.3 miles along the lanes. The nearby beaches of Gwbert-on-Sea and Poppit Sands allow dog walkers all year round. Other beaches such as Aberporth, Tresaith, Penbryn, Llangrannog, Cwmtydu and New Quay are close by. There are great walks around the Ceredigion and Pembroke coastal paths served by buses that you can hail and ride and that can accommodate a limited number of bikes. The accommodation
Ty Penllain House sleeps 6 in three bedrooms. The accommodation consists of 2 double bedrooms and 1 bunk bedroom on the first floor. The bathroom also on the first floor has a separate bath and a shower cubicle. The traditional country style kitchen has electric cooker and hobs, microwave, washing machine, fridge and freezer. The living room has a 3 piece suite, a 40” LCD TV and DVD and a wood burning stove. A study adjoins the living room. The dining room leads into the kitchen and to the large conservatory furnished with a dining table, 3 piece suite and 26” LCD TV and DVD. Outside
The conservatory leads into a private and enclosed garden and patio, which is dog and child friendly, a gate separates the small pond and lawn area and another gate separates the 2 space parking area. Entrance to the car park is though double gates off the side road. Key facts
All bed linen is provided. Towels and tea towels are not provided. The house is centrally heated and all fuel is included. A travel cot and high chair is available on request. Two well behaved pets are welcome at an additional cost of £15 each. Ty Penllain House is strictly no smoking. An outbuilding is available for smokers. Book online but don't pay now. You will need to pay the deposit to the owner. A non-refundable deposit is 25% required to confirm the booking, the balance should be paid 6 weeks before the start of the holiday. Dogs are charged at £15 each per week. Please pay the deposit within 7 days. Payment methods accepted: online bank transfer, cheque. We will send you an email with this information when you book.
