A โMunroโ is a term unique to Scotland, referring to a mountain that stands over 3,000 feet (914.4 meters) above sea level.
There are 282 Munros scattered across Scotland, from the south to the far north.
Munro-bagging (the act of climbing Munros) has since become popular among hikers and climbers.
Completing all the Munros is a significant achievement in the Scottish mountaineering community, and those who accomplish this feat are fittingly termed โMunroists.โ
I have not completed a single munro!
