โญ๏ธ The 166th Famous Alva Games are this Saturday 13th July 2024 at 10.30am! โญ๏ธ

Held annually on the second Saturday in July, the Famous Alva Games feature athletics, cycling, highland dancing, heavyweight events, hill races, and a fun fair. The festivities kick off with dancing and junior and female heavyweight contests at 10:30 am, followed by the main events after the opening ceremony at midday.

The Alloa Bowmar Pipe Band will lead the Guests into the arena just before noon and will play again at the interval. During the half time interval, there will be hotly contested "fun" races for visiting adults and children with medals for the first three children in each event and "age appropriate" prizes for kids and adults.

If youโ€™re in the area, itโ€™s definitely worth experiencing! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ†๐ŸŽ‰
