Today we have replaced the sunroom dining chairs as the others kept getting broken 🤯 This table and chairs is in addition to the kitchen table with chairs and benches 🪑

We’ve added a retractable
washing line UNDERCOVER! Just in case you’re off out and unsure of the forecast ☔️ or 🌞
This is in addition to the outside retractable washing line already in place! ☀️

We’ve added a WiFi extender to help get the WiFi to the furthest corners of the property 🛜
Unfortunately we don’t have great speeds but we do keep in touch with providers to see as and when they can do anything to improve this!
We do have plenty of indoor and outdoor games to keep everyone entertained though 🃏🧩♟️🎲🎳🏸🏏

Fantastic play area for the children in Shilbottle (no dogs 🐕)
From Deanrise pick up the footpath by the style in Deanmoor Road and you can get there without going on the road if you like ….. 🚶 alternatively there is parking and it’s close to the Morrisons daily if you need supplies 🛍️

It was great to see the 2nd of our episodes of the BBC Antiques Roadshow on BBC 1 last night.

Filmed back in summer 2021 you can't underestimate the power of hosting the programme. Traffic to our website yesterday increased by 1,592% compared to our monthly average!!!

If you’re looking for some fun, I’d recommend Adventure Northumberland stand up paddle board hire (pick up from Alnwick near M&S). Druridge bay country park is an ideal location to start - which is a large park with a lake, woodland, visitor centre (cafe and toilets) and beach just off the A1068, three miles south of Amble. Alternatively, launch into the river Coquet at Warkworth or try some of the sea locations recommended.

Perfect washing drying weather today 🌞 and slight 💨

Please see the retractable clothes line fixed to the rear of the house which can be extended out to the outbuilding. Washing line prop and pegs can be found in the utility.

Walk the King Charles III England Coast Path Amble to Bamburgh (or parts of it).

29 miles of sweeping beaches, sand dunes, rocky headlands and sandy bays offering beautiful coastal walking where you can enjoy the dramatic castles, vast wildlife, amazing views, rural picturesque fishing villages and coastal towns.

Look out for the acorn waymarkers and remember to follow the Countryside code.

The King Charles III England Coast Path is a new walking route that will follow the entire coast of England. Not All sections are open yet but when completed it will be the longest coast path in the world 🌍
