Who is excited for Race Across the World?

I’m still in Sri Lanka so will have to watch on catch up but we’ve been thinking about our next adventure and my suggestion to the family was something along these lines, inspired by the new series!

I attended some destination training today and learned somethings about some new destinations for me! One that has stuck with me all day is Bhutan.

Bhutan 🇧🇹 is one of only 3 carbon neutral countries in the world.
They don’t bother with GDP and instead prefer to measure GNH Gross National Happiness (I had to check too)
There are no traffic lights in the capital
All produce is organic and they don’t kill any animals, they import meat from India.
They produce excess electricity from dams and export it to India

If you’ve ever looked into visiting Japan, you’ll probably have pinpointed cherry blossom season as THE time to go. You’ll also probably know that it sells out months & months in advance. So it was exciting news when my favourite supplier called this morning to say they had some last minute availability on their incredible group tours for this year!
