Little Emily, her Mum and Granny stayed with us for three nights for a wee holiday before Emily starts nursery school. Here is their review.

From September I unfortunately have to put a five night minimum stay on our policies due to family commitments as I mainly do all the turnarounds myself. My nightly price has been adjusted to reflect longer stays with further discounts for a week or more.

Something for the little ones if you are down this way on 29th July

Really excited that Mini Explorers NI are joining in the fun at ST Patrick’s Square Downpatrick on Saturday 29th July from 12noon.

They provide sensory play for children of all ages but especially under 5s. It’s a great activity for children who can’t get face painted or have additional needs.

For those that are past guests and have seen the empty flower boat year after year ……….well I finally got it filled. This was it a few weeks ago with the roses starting to bloom.
My 3 yr old grandson was very disappointed and asked me why did I put flowers in his boat, he loved sitting in it.
Such gorgeous weather we are having, perfect for a staycation or visiting with family in the area.
We are dog friendly, with large exercise paddocks so you don’t even have to leave.
There is some availability in July and August but you have to contact me directly.
I had to block out some dates due to other commitments interfering with turnarounds but I can slot guests in to suitable dates around this.
Not all availability is shown on the booking sites.

I took a wee drive today around the coast and stopped at each beach. Coney Island, Rossglass, Minerstown, (skipped Tyrella) headed back to Ardglass and travelled the coast Rd to Strangford seeing Ballyhornan, Killard and Kilclief along the way. Such a great choice of beach to visit when staying here and all within 15 minutes drive.
