Heartbreaking to see another family going through this - wishing Lily a speedy recovery.

I always talk about the importance of having adequate travel insurance when you’re travelling - my recommendation is to have this in place as soon as you’ve booked so if you need to cancel for an insurable reason, you’ve got peace of mind that your money is protected, as are you. Would you want your family to be going through this when a travel insurance policy is the best way to protect yourself?!

Please remember that the GHIC / EHIC are NOT a substitute for travel insurance when travelling within Europe - you need both. Please get in touch if you’ve not yet got cover in place even if you’ve booked your holiday elsewhere. Don’t leave it to chance!
