Large wildfires have been burning on the Dava moor over the last couple of days and the public are advised to avoid this area. Photo taken this lunchtime from Kettle Hill near Aviemore.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland has today said: “Several roads in the Carrbridge, Dava, Grantown-on-Spey and Knockando areas remain closed due to two separate fires originally reported on Saturday.

The B9007 is closed from the junction at Duthil to Ferness.
The A939 is closed from Grantown-on-Spey to Ferness and the A940 is closed at Dava. The B9102 is also closed.

Always a fun night! Time to get local!

Our folk sesh is back tomorrow (Wednesday 22nd April). Bring an instrument, or a pair of clapable hands, squeeze in and get the craic.

Our kitchen crew take the day off on Wednesdays, meaning we revert to full blown pubbyness. pizzas pop up outside every week from 5pm. Grab yours, grab a dram, tap them feet.

No bookings. First come first served for pizzas and seats.
