Remember tonight is the night the clocks go forward!

Many people don't enjoy losing the hour of sleep when the clocks go forward but personally I look forward to it every year. It signals the start of longer, lighter days. Up here, it can be light until midnight on the longest day in June. The spring forward of the clocks also hopefully signals the start of the warmer weather! The Cairngorms National Park is so beautiful in the spring time. 😍

Did you know there are feral goats here in the Cairngorms? 🐐

Turns out it’s not just roe deer, red deer, pine martens, badgers, mountain hare, rabbits, red squirrels, Scottish wildcats, and otters you can see when you come to visit!

One of our favourite things to do in winter here in the Cairngorms is take a trip to see the Cairngorms Reindeer herd! 🦌

There are over 150 reindeer, ranging around the Cairngorms Mountains, they are lovely animals that really spark that feeling of joy and Christmas spirit in every visitor.

Plus, they are rumoured to be ‘the’ reindeer for that extra special person who only makes an appearance once a year – Santa! 🎅 (Make sure you keep that to yourself!)
