We have exciting news to share!
This week we are Introducing our NEW evening dining menu with a delicious Mexican twist!
Food will be served Thursday, Fridays & Saturday evenings from 5pm - 9pm .
We have also been working with who have put together a fabulous wine menu.
Evening menu is Kicking off this Friday! 🌮🥙
We have also given our daytime brunch menu a good shake up & added more delicious meals.
Our evening booking system will be open for bookings on Wednesday evening!

We love it when local businesses team up! Next Tuesday is Cheese and Wine tasting at The C**k and Rabbit Inn in the Lee with cheese and wine provided by our very own No 2 Pound Street 🧀🍷

Tickets £30 in advance, grab yours now and tell your friends! Cheese and wine Tuesday is definitely a thing 😀

Two of our lovely team are doing a skydive for our Charity of the Year Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care next month. To raise money they’ll be outside face painting today 12-2pm - come along!

The Coombe Hill Fell Race is on June 2nd 🏃‍♀️ 🏃🏻‍♂️

Posted • The 2024 Coombe Hill Fell Race will be on Sunday, 2nd June starting at 11am and it’s a fun, hilly 7km fell run, classified in the BS category by the Fell Running Association. It starts and finishes in Wendover, Bucks.

£5 for general entry, which includes a free pint in the Shoulder of Mutton (at the end of the race, not the start!) 😉

£3 for Fell Running Association (FRA) members, which again includes a free pint.

Entries on the day and cash only!

Registration opens from 9:30am and closes at 10:45am.

Minimum age is 14 years on the day.

Are you ready for day 3 of the Real Magic Weekend ? Details of todays events are in the post below

Massive dance floor scenes last night King and Queen, Wendover. Thanks to everyone who came and partied. An incredible day of dogs, Mexican cookery writing, records and poetry. A massive thank you to everyone who joined us, full report to follow soon.

On to Day 3. The art workshop is currently in full flow upstairs, before Matt Brown at 11.30 and Nicki Thornton at 1. Both free and suitable for children of all ages.

Then at 1 we’re holding a screening of the film Commotion Time at the King and Queen, hosted by Will Burns. At the same time we’ve got two sittings of The Grazing Table at No2 - totally sold out.

At 4 we’re upstairs in the shop for Simon Goddard’s Bowie Odyssey, before music in the shop to close the weekend with Oscar Browne and Matilda Florence. There’s still time to join us for the final day of what has been a brilliant weekend. Bar’s open all day - join us.

🎡 As part of the May Charter Market, we're excited to announce that we'll have fairground rides at the market! 🎠

🌱 Plus, bring the little ones along for an interactive activity provided by the parish council! 🌻 They can get their hands dirty and plant seeds into cardboard pots to take home and watch their sunflowers grow! 🌞 It's a perfect opportunity for some family fun!

If you live local, this is definitely one to look out for!
