New outside dining decked area added to the rear garden of the caravan. Need a few dry days in a row too stain it mind you. Artificial grass laid on the front porch too.

Burns Trout Fishery

Deep in the heart of Burns Country lies acres of unspoiled land full of character
and charm.
Tarbolton Loch is located in the peaceful and tranquil setting on the edge of the village of Tarbolton.
What better way to take in the beauty of Ayrshire than a days fishing on one of the well stocked lochs.
Depending on the type of fishing prefered we have a choice of 4 Lochs.
Our main Large Loch (Flyfishing only),The Triangle loch this is for both bait or Flyfishing each activity is restricted to particular banks, A Smaller Loch this is bait only. Finally in front of the lodge we have the Large bait pond.

Our lochs are stocked on a weekly basis with Rainbows & Brown trout
With an average size of 1.5lbs to 2 lbs with a reasonable
head of larger fish into double figures.

We also have a 22peg Carp Pond and a Coarse pond

King size bedroom with ensuite, walk in wardrobe and full size dressing table with mirror. Twin room with large wardrobe. Large sofa bed in the living room if required. 3 TVs, 4G MIFI. Central heating and well equipped kitchen. Wrap around decking and a back garden.

'Coilsfield 1885 , Tarbolton, Ayrshire (now Montgomerie). The Mansion of Colonel Hugh Montgomery, afterwards Earl of Eglinton,
This impressive mansion was built to replace the Castle of Montogomery. This castle was refered to by the poet Robert Burns as to where Mary Campbell (Highland Mary) worked in the 1770s. She has remained famous for the affect she had on Scotland's best known poet. People from around the globe have been intrigued by the story of Burns and Highland Mary, but never been able to find an image of the Castle of Montgomery to fully understand the setting for one of Scotland's most intriguing romances.
