County Antrim - 'The Carrickfergus Tall Ship Project' - a series of events from 30th January 2025 to 8th February 2025. Details on flyer. Feel free to share. Result Carrickfergus Ltd write:

"Dear History Hub Ulster

"The Carrickfergus Tall Ship Project is offering people the chance to contribute and hear about the proposals to bring home the last Carrick built ship ‘Result’ as an engaging history attraction and community events hub. Our ‘drop-in sessions’ will also allow people to discover the fascinating stories of the Result and Carrick Shipyard and take a close look at original artefacts and pictures.

"The tall ship named Result was designed and built in Carrickfergus’ forgotten Victorian shipyard in 1893. She was employed in transporting a wide variety of cargoes to a range of different British, Irish and Continental ports during her long career at sea. Result’s service notably included being requisitioned by the Royal Navy during the First World War and actively deployed as a Q-ship armed with hidden weaponry designed to lure in and attack German submarines. In 1970, Result was acquired by the Ulster Transport Museum, where she is currently on open-air display.

"Behind the project is local non-profit company Result Carrickfergus Ltd. The company directors are proud of the town’s rich maritime history and believe this project offers our community a chance to pay tribute to our heritage. Our intention is to sensitively restore and relocate the Result to Carrickfergus a history attraction, education hub and event venue for the benefit of both tourists and the local community. This bold Static-Adaptive-Reuse approach we plan to adopt will be self-funding in the future and help contribute to our town’s attractiveness and prosperity. Discussions about our intentions have started with the vessel’s owners National Museums Northern Ireland, and Mid & East Antrim Borough Council.

"We invite all in the local community to come and engage with the project through our series of ‘drop-in sessions’. These will be held in the Carrickfergus Pop-Up Shop at 2 Joymount, across from the Town Hall, on select dates. Two opportunities will also be offered to attend an illustrated talk on Result’s unique story More information on the project and upcoming ‘drop-in sessions’ can be found on the website and social media channels of the Carrickfergus Tall Ship Project.

So it turns out that Facebook won't let me advertise my Story of the Belfast Suffragettes Walking Tour as it is violates their advertising standards by being about "sensitive social issues that could influence public opinion, how people vote"
I think the women of 1913 would have though this was hilarious!
So until I figure out a work around I'm asking all you kind folks to like and share
You can still book here but better be quick!
