Cannich Camping - woodland caravan and camping park. Cannich Camping is the perect place to relax and enjoy the slow pace of life in the Highlands of Scotland.

Scenic family run site in the heart of Strathglass at the head of Glen Affric Nation Nature Reserve with its ancient Caledonian forests, sparkling lochs and waterfalls. We area a family run business and are committed to the beauty of our landscape and environment. On our doorstep we have Glen Affric NAtional Nature Reserve and two other remarkable Glens - Cannich & Strathfarrar. We are also well l

ocated for visiting Loch Ness. We offer a range of static caravan holiday homes for holiday let and sale. We of course cater for tents, mobile homes and toyring caravans. Camping pods were added to our site for 2012 and have proved very popular.

Penultimate fish and chip Friday today until 1900. Closing 1700 on Sunday 3rd November for the season, and open 7 days a week until then.

The caravan park and bog cotton cafe is open until 1700 on Sunday 3rd of November. We close then for Winter maintenance. Fish and chip nights remain at the cafe till 1900 on Friday 18th Oct, Friday 25th October and Friday 1st November. Thank you once again to all our customers for your valuable support. We've enjoyed serving you in 2024.

It's always great to see the campers, hill walkers, kayaker, cyclists and nature lovers back again for the main season. This year the cafe open from 7.30 am to 18.30 7 days a week.

The 2023 season is now underway for everything, including camping, static caravan accommodation, pods and bacon rolls (veg options aswell) in the Bog Cotton Cafe (8am till 5pm daily). We had a very enjoyable 2022 thanks to all our customers - a lot of familiar faces and a few new ones. It means we can go ahead with the new toilet block roof, part of which will be turf. I have spent a lot of the last 21 years dreaming of a roof that doesn't leak, and with insulation as a bonus. Finally my dream is to be realised, so we will be closing on Tuesday 1st November and look forward to showing the roof off when we reopen on March 1st 2023.

It's lovely weather now and it's good to have the tenters back again. There is always space for backpacking tents, as it is a natural sort of site with plenty of nooks and crannies. You don't need to book for those, especially if you don't have a car.

The park is fully open now for camping, touring units, pods and static holiday home accommodation. The Bog Cotton Cafe is opening on the 25th of March from 8am daily......meanwhile on with some leaf and twig raking in the sun, thank you!

Its been 20 years to the day since we arrived at Cannich Caravan Park on a misty, cold and dank morning. Its been an absolute doddle ever since and always sunny......but after all that time, eventually the old toilet block is getting an overhaul. It'll be a few years before its fully finished, but we could never have got this far without all the support from our customers....even the young lady that complained about the lack of sea views" like the one on Aberdeenshire".
