Last year we were busy prepping the poly tunnel for planting. We might not be growing so much this year but we are already thinking about plans for next year. Our children love to be helping hands in the polytunnel - even when they pull up perfectly good squash plants because they think they are weeds! 😬

We've been enjoying some beautiful walks around Rosemoor lately.

This handsome little robin followed us for a good 5 minutes, hopping from branch to branch, onto the path, as we walked around. Our little three year old was over the moon with her feathered friend!

We also spent time watching the birds come and go on the feeder. It was tricky to keep both still and quiet (!) but we saw what we thought were beautiful yellow t**s.

March is here, which means Easter is not too far away! We love Easter here at LB, all our little guests get some Easter treats on arrival, we have Easter craft in the cottages and put up some Easter decorations too!

We've had a fantastic few weeks of half term here at LB! Whilst there have been a fair few showers 🌧 we've still been able to enjoy some sunshine.

With both the Devon and Cornwall coasts nearby, you are spoilt for choice! We tend to go to the Cornish coast as it’s a bit closer but there are some brilliant spots in North Devon too 🏄🏼

In 2023 we welcomed the final tiny addition to the Libbear Barton team. It was a rocky year, as a family we spent over 5 months in hospital and it was tough going as we juggled home life and the business.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to all our guests that stayed with us, who were patient and understanding of our situation, and some who so kindly bought gifts! We were very grateful to you all.

Here's to 2024; a fresh start for our family of six and exciting new things to come at Libbear Barton - bring it on!
