Game of Thrones Fans, You can see one of the Game of Thrones Doors (Door No7) at our lunch stop at the Hedges Hotel. Carved from fallen trees from the actual Dark Hedges after storm Gertrude brought down several trees in January 2016. These were allocated to bars and restaurants all around the country where filming for the show took place.

A beautiful sunny day along the North Coast at Magheracross Viewing Point,

These viewing platforms give you stunning views towards Portrush with County Donegal in the far distance, and also back towards the Giants Causeway with an alternative view of Dunluce Castle.

Giants Causeway - Stop 7 on our Giants Causeway Tour (90 minute stop) UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Giants Causeway was created approximately 60 Million years ago following volcanic lava flow. 40,000 interlocking basalt columns mostly hexagonal in shape. The number one visited National Trust location in the whole UK.

Quickest route down is the blue trail (15-20 min walk downhill ) the return walk will be uphill (20-25 minutes) A shuttle bus is also available at a cost of £1.00 each way (cash or card) which picks up and drops off at the rear of the visitor centre. National Trust members also get free access to the shuttle bus and visitor centre if you have your card at hand

The Dark Hedges and Lunch in the Hedges Hotel) - Stop 4 on our Giants Causeway Tour (60 minute stop). This iconic location made famous by Game of Thrones known as "The Kings Road" used by Arya and Gendry as they escaped Kings Landing heading north to Castle Black.

This avenue of Beech trees line the Bregagh Road creating a stunning archway leading up to Gracehill House, formerly owned by the Stuart Family in the 1770's

Lunch is available in the Hedges Hotel with a buffet style service. Refreshments available in the bar area and bathrooms are situated here accessible via one of the 10 Game of Thrones Doors (Door Number 7)

Carrick-a-Rede Viewpoint - Stop 3 on our Giants Causeway Tour (10 minute stop). As we cant get access to the actual site due to The National Trust NOT allowing coaches on site, this viewpoint allows you to look down to the actual bridge from a high vantage point.

On a clear day you can easily pick out numerous features of Scotland across the water and also Rathllin Island. Northern Irelands most northern point.

Carnlough Harbour - Second stop on our Giants Causeway Tour (25-30 minute stop). Halfway along the North Antrim Coast Road, this lovely little harbour is a hidden gem. Numerous spots around the harbour allow you to take in the stunning views. Here you also have access to bathrooms and a convenience store.

Game of Thrones also used a section of the harbour for filming in the area of Braavos in S6E7 where Arya fled from the Waif.

Carrickfergus Castle - First stop on our Giants Causeway Tour. Built in 1177 by Anglo Norman Knight, John de Courcey. Sitting on the shores of Belfast Lough (Formerly Carrickfergus Bay).

Generally a 10-15 minute stop. Explore around the castle and take advantage of the available bathrooms and Coffee Bar before we move off towards the North Antrim Coast Road.
