Great way to spend your Christmas money - I just can’t decide which one to go on!

We all know that period between Boxing Day and New Year's Eve can be a bit weird.
You've had your Christmas dinner, you've opened your presents, you've seen the family; but now what to do with yourself until the next big night out?
This is where we come in!
For 2024, we are offering THREE full-day coach tours departing from Belfast over that long weekend from 27th to 29th December.
On Friday 27th December, we return to the days of the body snatchers with our ever-popular 'Body Bus'.
Then, on Saturday 28th December, we go back another century or two, on our new tour of witchcraft history, 'The Witches' Way'.
Finally, on Sunday 29th December, it's true crime all the way with 'The Murder Miles' - eight hours of serial killers, unsolved crimes and victims' stories.
All tours are open for booking now. As always, there are no booking fees and we have a concessionary rate for seniors, benefit claimants, people with disabilities, students and children under 14 (parental discretion strongly advised).
We look forward to hell-coming you on board!

What you make of this extremely rare photograph? Sorting Office, General Post Office Royal Avenue (GPO), Belfast. Dated Early 1940’s. Absolutely fantastic ain’t it?

❓Did you Know❓

That some of the Poorhouse girls were taught French so that they could get a higher paid job as a governess or a high-ranking ladies’ maid!

Learning different languages was generally taught to girls from a middle or upper class background which highlights how Mary Ann and the Ladies' Committee were progressive in their views of female education as well as great promoters of it in the Belfast Poorhouse.
