The 1918 Representation of the People Act gave voting rights to women over the age of thirty who had £5 of property (just over £7k in todays money)or had husbands who did.
It added just over eight million women to the voting population and this is Christabel Pankhurst, daughter of Emmeline Pankhurst using her vote for the first time.
