Wirksworth, a magnet for lovers of history and heritage with its imposing stone buildings. Wirksworth is one of Derbyshires pretty market towns.
Wirksworth is a market and former quarry town situated about 5.9 miles north west of Belper.
The town has a thriving independent high street with a range of shops, cafes, bistros, pubs and eateries.
You can spend hours wandering the streets and hidden alleyways. The Ecclesbourne railway is situation in the town centre. 🚂

🥾 Nestled next to High peak trail for walkers to explore the area. Close to Black rocks, cromford Moor, Middleton moor and Middleton Top. 🍃
