Birthday celebration pilgrim’s crossing

Today Dave lead a group of friends following in the footsteps of the saints, St Cuthbert, St Aidan and St Oswald , across to Holy Island.

We heard the haunting call of the curlew, saw a murmuration of golden plover, Brent geese, Mute Swans, heard the seals singing. Being surrounded by nature felt very nurturing.

Bread Making Experience with a lovely group of people with Wild Experiences Northumberland

Everyone had great fun creating delicious bread. The best bit was the tasting all the different breads with a hearty bowl of homemade soup with local Doddington Dairy cheese.

Birthday Celebration Pilgrim's Walk

What better way to celebrate a special birthday?

An unforgettable experience walking barefoot across the sands, sun kissed faces, hearing the songs of the seals and the call of the curlew and at the end a single bottle of bubbly to celebrate, how romantic.

We worked with Crabtree & Crabtree to provide their guest with an immersive experience and memories to take away.

Autumn Fun Family Bread Making Sessions

Why not come and join us and transform into a baker🍞

Rowan and Martha did just that during their stay Laverock Law Cottages and Glamping First of all they made a dough, lots of opportunity for hands on experience. Everyone got sticky fingers. We had a go at making flour which takes a lot of strength we found out.

They decided what they wanted to make and they began to make their dough come alive.

Rowan created a rocket and Martha made Chase from paw patrol.

The best bit was eating it for their lunch, yum yum.

Family Bread making session

Great to be able to take these pilgrims from Nashville across to Holy Island Today, early crossing as the tides came in. Washing away our footsteps and leaving only a memory as a trace of our passage across the sands

Another beautiful pilgrims crossing. Today it felt like a very Heartfelt experience that I shared with a beautiful couple. It really did feel like a pilgrimage to finding yourself.

Dunstanburgh Castle gives a dramatic backdrop to the wild flower meadows on Newton Point today, yellow rattle, orchids, cranesbill and vetch just some of the many flowers seen on our last fantastic walk with our American, “Friends of Amy” walking party we have guided for the last week.

If you see a pup on the beach and you are concerned:
☎️call the marine mammal rescue. There are a group of volunteers that work along the Northumberland Coast checking to see if the pups need extra support

🦭 Stay about 1 metre away, seal pups can be vicious ( speaking from experience)

🦭 Draw a boundary around the pup so people stay away in order for it to feel safe

🦭Ask any dog owners to put their dogs on a leaf and to keep their distance

We can all do our bit to help.
