Explore the paradise of Costa Rica

Costa Rica may be small, but it has a lot to pack into a 13-night private adventure. You can go deep into the rainforest, waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and embarking on wild hikes and zip-line adventures. Try whitewater rafting along Pacuare River, one of the world’s best rafting rivers; or swim, surf, or snorkel in the Caribbean Sea, edging Puerto Viejo’s beautiful beaches. We’ve partnered with the Travel Foundation who’ve supported us in developing this itinerary as a step towards ensuring that tourism has more of a positive impact on destinations.

• Immerse yourself in the rainforest at Lapa Rios and take the chance to enjoy waterfall swims and guided hikes in search of sloths and pumas.

• Travel deep into Limon province, whitewater rafting along the tumbling Pacuare River and spend time with native tribes in the area, learning their traditions and practices

• Stay at the renowned Pacuare Lodge and make the most of zip-wire experiences and hikes, learning about traditional medicine and the local flora and fauna.

First up, dive into history with 3 nights in the Cultural Triangle, based in Habarana. Here, you can explore ancient ruins, hike up the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress and enjoy an exciting afternoon safari at Minneriya National Park—home to herds of Sri Lanka’s majestic elephants.

Next, head south to Kandy, the island’s second city, for a full day with your guide. Visit the stunning botanical gardens, and don’t miss the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, one of the most sacred spots in Sri Lanka.

Finally, say farewell to your guide and wrap up your trip with some well-deserved beach time at a luxurious 5-star resort. You’ll have your very own slice of paradise with a little relaxation. If you’re still up for a bit more sightseeing, you’re just a short hop from the historic city of Galle.
