I actually do not know where to start and as you all know I’m rubbish with words 😅 last year so many said how fantastic that show was and how they did not know how we would top it. Well we did it! ODYSSEY what a show!!!! I think this has been the best show to date 🤩

It’s been months of hard work and when I say that I mean from all of my amazing dancers. The commitment and dedication really shows on that floor. My job has been made easy by having such wonderful dancers who really give their all! The confidence , the beaming smiles and the support you give each other. That’s what it’s all about 🤩 superstars!!!

I actually get to call this my job and I absolutely love it. It really is more than just dance, it’s a family 💗 and I know I’m bias but xdf really is the best! My phone is going crazy with messages / posts. I apologise if I miss any but thank you so much your kind words mean the world 🌍

Once again thank you parents and chaperones for all your continuous support. None of this could be done without you and of course it certainly couldn’t be done without my wonderful Chloe. You really are worth your weight in gold 💕 myself and all of xdf adore you.

The wait is over! It’s officially show time! I have been an emotional wreck this morning 🥹 I think seeing all the hard work and commitment from all dancers makes me fill up! You guys are truly wonderful and I can’t wait for everyone to see you all shine bright on that floor 🤩 I am so proud of you all 💗

Once again parents I am so truly grateful for your support and bringing your gorgeous children to be a part of the crazy xdf journey.

This is our journey…… ODYSEEY! Let’s make it a show to remember! Let’s go xdf!

All dancers have been working super hard to make this years show ODYSSEY a one to remember. Still lots to drill and perfect but I have no doubt you will all smash it 🤩

Once again he’s smashing it 🤩

Gustave is one of my OGs!! Danced and trained for years with me and continues his dance career in London. He has had amazing success and the latest is staring in the new Wicked film. I still haven’t watched the film but hear how truly awesome it is, I cannot wait to see it!

Gustave keep smashing it! I am Incredibly proud of all you have achieved and to have shared your journey from a young age to now 🥹 Myself and all of xdf will always be your biggest supporters and cheerleaders!

A massive well done to everybody who attended last weekends competition. You guys were on 🔥🔥

So many recalls and placements but most of all beeming smiles and enjoyment!! The improvement in so many of you is just lovely to see! Proud beyond words. Again thank you parents for the continuous support and commitment. We appreciate you all!

A big shoutout to our lovely Bluebell who sadly could not dance due to her knee injury. Bluebell has not missed a lesson and still attended the competition to support her team mates and cheer everyone on! She really is a true sportsman!

We also have our wonderful Grace who got told by myself and her mam to go home and stop worrying about her team routine because she was so poorly but would not give in and go. Again a true warrior and sportsman!

As you all know we held our very first fun day yesterday to help raise some money for the dance school.

I am truly blown away by the amount of people that turned up to show their support 💗 myself and all of the dance school would like to say a very big thank you!

Over the last month we have had so many kind donations for local business for raffle prizes The Dairy Barn The Tanning Shop The Top House Pub Zen Aroma Aruvi restaurant and bar Spennymoor UK Street Dance Challenge Creations hair salon Aycliffe and all individuals who have kindly donated prizes. Not to mention everyone who bought raffle tickets to show their support. (Sorry if I have missed any one)

Also once again our sponsorships Ross/Wright Ltd HairHaus Hair & Beauty Buston & Maughan Ltd and the personal sponsorships. This was a massive help to pay for the costs of inflatables and other overheads , so that we could not be at a loss before the day had even begun.

Thank you to those who paid for stalls and to Auckland Castles Moes Muncher and Wonderful Whippy Ltd who all all supported the day.

The biggest thank you to my parents and older dancers and of course Chloe. You all went above and beyond to run stalls , man the Inflatables and just make the day totally amazing!!! Hi guys update on king James and closing. Really sorry but there will be no classes tonight or tomorrow. Stay safe everyone 💗

Message from king James:

Following contact with Durham Constabulary & in collaboration with King James I Academy, we (King James I Community) will be closing from 3pm today (Tuesday the 6th of August), and re-opening on the morning of Thursday the 8th of August, as a precautionary measure.
