Hi guys just a reminder there are no classes this week. Monday 26th August - Sunday 1st September I am away on my holidays.

Also week commencing 2nd September I am still away but Chloe and Kaci are kindly covering classes.

As you all know we held our very first fun day yesterday to help raise some money for the dance school.

I am truly blown away by the amount of people that turned up to show their support 💗 myself and all of the dance school would like to say a very big thank you!

Over the last month we have had so many kind donations for local business for raffle prizes The Dairy Barn The Tanning Shop The Top House Pub Zen Aroma Aruvi restaurant and bar Spennymoor UK Street Dance Challenge Creations hair salon Aycliffe and all individuals who have kindly donated prizes. Not to mention everyone who bought raffle tickets to show their support. (Sorry if I have missed any one)

Also once again our sponsorships Ross/Wright Ltd HairHaus Hair & Beauty Buston & Maughan Ltd and the personal sponsorships. This was a massive help to pay for the costs of inflatables and other overheads , so that we could not be at a loss before the day had even begun.

Thank you to those who paid for stalls and to Auckland Castles Moes Muncher and Wonderful Whippy Ltd who all all supported the day.

The biggest thank you to my parents and older dancers and of course Chloe. You all went above and beyond to run stalls , man the Inflatables and just make the day totally amazing!!! My three amigos Kerstie , Kendra and Gemma who never stopped all day on hair……. The perks of parents who are hairdressers 😝

None of this would be possible without everyone’s love and support 💗 Team work makes the dream work!

Hi guys update on king James and closing. Really sorry but there will be no classes tonight or tomorrow. Stay safe everyone 💗

Message from king James:

Following contact with Durham Constabulary & in collaboration with King James I Academy, we (King James I Community) will be closing from 3pm today (Tuesday the 6th of August), and re-opening on the morning of Thursday the 8th of August, as a precautionary measure.

The Health & Safety of our customers & staff is paramount therefore we appreciate the support during this period.

We are looking for anyone or any businesses that would like to help us with a sponsorship towards our first ever family fun day.

We have a brilliant afternoon planned on August 18th with a variety of inflatables for all ages plus food, craft stalls and games.

You can either donate a sponsorship that suits you or we can send a list over of prices and you can pick an item at the event to sponsor.

What an amazing weekend we have had with the dance fam at such a busy competition. So many recalls , semi finals and finals made but most importantly memories that will last a lifetime!

We went to Alton towers with two missions to bring back at least one trophy 🏆 and to have so much fun!! Well we did that and way more!!!!!
the girls absolutely smashed it!!!!

Team actually came in joint 1st but then went to head judge scores and only one mark in it but the other team got it! Prophecy 2nd 🏆

I can’t put into words how proud these girls make me feel 💕 they are not just amazing dancers but truly beautiful girls who have been a pleasure all weekend 💗

On Saturday my amazing dancers took to the floor to show everyone how truly awesome they are 😍 I am proud beyond words. Every single dancer rocked that dance floor!!

A massive well done to all my amazing dancers for yesterday. You guys brought the 🔥🔥 so lovely to see the progression and confidence.

It’s been such a crazy busy time lately. Showcase rehearsals, new teams, new members. It’s all going on but we do love a busy time filled with special memories 💗

Tomorrow we take to the floor for our second competition of the year and it’s a special one as our two new teams Flamin and Meraki hit the floor. Beyond proud of the commitment and growth in both teams over such a short space of time 😍

7 weeks of hard work dedication and commitment and we are off ready to rock the floor!!

I know it’s been tuff pulling new team sets together and my constant…..5678 do it again 🤣 but I can’t tell you how proud I am! Lucky to have such wonderful dancers and parents 💗

No matter what the results you are all superstars in my eyes 🤩

I know I’m bias but Xdf really is the best 💗
