I think it’s been a couple of decades since I drew a horse. I had this sat in my sketchbook and wanted to give it a Neo Traditional render. It’s the first time I give neo traditional a go. Really enjoyed working with the dark shading, it gives such a great contrast and I can see why it’s become such a popular tattoo style.

My first ever UAMOU! I fell in love with this as it sat in my living room waiting for some paint. How can such a simple shape hold so much character? I need to try my luck and get one for myself at ToyCon in May 2025! I need one in my collection!
Anyway, back to the custom. I was given slight directions and the freedom to create here. My paintwork is getting more and more detailed and intricate as the years go on. Having such a large piece to work on is great when it comes to getting that fine detail in there. I wish I had the chance to do larger pieces like this more often. I love how wild I can go with the motives and the opportunities they provide.

First finished artwork on my new iPad. I cannot tell you what a difference this piece of technology has meant to my mental state. The fact that I can pick it up whenever I want and just poor out what’s in my head has rid me of my sleepless nights. I love this thing so much that I’ve had nightmares about people steeling it 😂😂😂

OMG THIS ONE! I really don't know whyyyy it has taken me so long to share this. I finished it just before the ToyConUK 2024 rush, so I guess time was short and then I was on to the next thing and never got there. But it is here now! I tried loads of new techniques on this, like the glow on the lightning for example and the smokey eyes. These are some elements I like to continue to explore in 2025, cause that glow effect is on fire!

Let's take it to 2024. It has been a busy year where I've gotten back into customising seriously. I was given this commission in 2023 and it took me a good while to complete. It got caught in a dip in my life. A hard toy to customise for sure. I started exploring weathering in 2023 and really got to go to town on this as my client wanted it to be overgrown with flowers like it had been lost and forgotten, taken over by nature. I customised this Calico Hattori Taro by back in 2021 for a private collector. I love it when I get these strange, in-detail commissions. She wanted him to have Calico fur with eyes all over his back and a venus flytrap tattoo on his tummy. And who am I to say NO to such an amazing vision?! I remember this commission being one of my favorites for 2021 and it is still up there with the top ones. I did share a few progress pictures of him, but never the final images.
