A busy weekend supporting the Mari Friend event at Bracken Hall Countryside Centre. The Friend family enjoyed staying at the B&B (40 years after living there!), they loved what we have done with the place and want to return very soon! The family and volunteers also enjoyed complimentary tea and cake! The information boards at BHCC celebrating Mari and John Friends achievement as the original founders of Bracken Hall Countryside Centre were really great. Great review from this week’s lovely guests, who found us after we featured in the Sunday Times travel supplement. 😊 They walked the Saltaire to Bingley canal walk and had a lovely meal at San Angelo’s, as well as Fish and Chips at Mother Hubbards!

Such a great weekend in the B&B.

Met some fabulous new guests who have discovered Bracken Hall House for the first time.

One lovely family visiting family in Baildon who loved the decor and breakfast 🍳 and even left with a hug 🤗.

Also had a couple who found us on the Salts Mill website 😍 They had high praise for The Old Glen House! They commented on friendly landlady ‘Katie’, a perfect pint of Timothy Taylor’s Landlord and some very friendly locals!

Everyone said they would love to come back! It’s great to know after 7 years that we are still doing things right and people love it so much they want to return! Feeling fab 😍

Really enjoyed hosting today’s Rotary Club lunch! 14 members of the club enjoyed a tour of Bracken Hall Countryside Centre followed by a delicious lunch in our sunny dining room. Plenty of compliments were made for the homemade puddings and members were impressed with the quality of accommodation here at Bracken Hall House.

Starting 2024 off with another 5 star review!
Happy New Year to everyone!
5* Absolutely loved our stay with the family and 6 children, the house worked out great for the kids and we all had our own private space in the bedrooms. Sally was very accommodating and nothing was a problem, the house was immaculate, warm, always hot water and the rooms were well set out. We will not hesitate to stay here again!

Last few days at Bracken Hall - decorated the breakfast room, hall stairs and landing and touch up in other areas, bright sunny & frosty weather and today a lovely sprinkling of snow! A good job I didn’t have any guests in as we also had a power cut this morning 😩😜. All ok now and will be putting up the decs ready for b&b guests next week and self-catering Christmas guests!

Glorious morning at Bracken Hall - watch out for a frosty bottom!! 😊 🤪We still have B&B availability next weekend and the weekend after (8th & 15th Dec) then, we will be welcoming our self- catering guests for Christmas and New Year!!
