Hay Markets are always worth a visit (on every Thursday) but the monthly Saturday ones are even better with a slightly festival feel.

One week to go! Saturday 6th April is the first monthly Hay Saturday Market of the season, then every first Saturday of the month through the summer.

We’re also buddying up with , as some of our wonderful flea traders will be setting up (their tented) shop in the Castle’s Honesty Bookshop.

The Welsh rain finally stopped long enough for us to enjoy a quick stomp up on to Velindre Common today, to blow away the cobwebs. We used to do this walk regularly but it’s been a while and it was so worth it for the panoramic views, beautiful, even on the drabbest of days.

Autumn days are made for walks with this one.

Those of you who are familiar with the Vizsla breed will know that they like to stay close to their owners. Betty would be this close to my face at all times if she could 😂. Lovely and annoying in equal measures.
